Not sure what to say?

Uncle Mike was such an amazing person. He was always kind to me and he and Aunt Karen let me stay with them a couple of times when I was attending conferences in Oregon. He and Aunt Karen let Anya come stay with them for a week one summer and they also attended her junior recital in college. I will so miss his wit and generosity. I loved listening to his stories. Many condolences to Aunt Karen, Morgan, Aaron, Theo, Ben, and the rest of the family. (Niece - in- law)

Kim, Anya, and I will miss Uncle Mike deeply. He always had something (often many somethings) going on in his head; certainly, as his nephew, I'm more aware of the role of design in my life than I would have been otherwise. Our deepest condolences to Karen, Morgan, Aaron, and the rest of the family.

I am at a bit loss for words as I reflect on my wonderful Uncle Mike and what he means to me... well, he means an incredible lot! I am flooded with memories of him and Aunt Karen who were always a constant reassurance of family love throughout my life. His humor, wit and intellect were always a welcome relief in family functions and he was just that calm and welcoming presence who made you feel that you were the most important and interesting person in the room - and by the way, he did...

Karen I was heart broken to learn of Mike´s passing. I´ve known him for as long as I can remember. We went all through school together and both Father´s were at Alexander´s. It was such a pleasure to meet you and a joy to see the happiness you brought him. My thoughts are with you and Morgan.

Mike will be missed here at Tualatin Greens Condominium. We have lived just across the hall from him and Karen since we moved in over ten years ago. His wealth of knowledge about this old building, a great asset to our community, is what l will remember along with his great sense of humor. He always made us smile. Rest in peace good neighbor.

I had just a few hero´s in my life but my Uncle Mike was the one at the top of the list, If I could have been anyone other than myself I would have wanted to be just like my Uncle Mike. He was funny and interesting, he was an amazing father and husband and his family always came first. I consider myself lucky to have known him and to be so close to him and be able to call him my uncle and friend. Uncle Mike I love you, I always have and I will continue to for the rest of my days.. I miss...

Single Memorial Tree

Uncle Mike was the kindest, most "dad-like" man I´ve ever known. He was an artist, a mentor, a goofball, a comedian, a doting grandfather - and it was a true privilege to have him in my life. His departure, far too soon, has broken my heart. My deepest condolences go to my Aunt Karen, his loving wife. These two were truly peas in a pod - an inspiring example of marriage, partnership, and friendship at its very best. Rest in peace, Uncle Mike. Please tell my mom I love her when you see her,...
