Not sure what to say?

I'll make it super convenient, Kathleen, because I have already spoken to your hubby and your son. Coffee hour at Sacred Heart after 9 AM Mass, Jan 30 (I'll be too jet-lagged to make it that early on Jan 23). Weather permitting and no blizzards in the offing. I look forward to chatting - politics to be off limits, s'il vous plait, except for vague statements about improving our schools and peace and love. I go to Sacred Heart for Father Connolly's homilies. I am half-Protestant and I demand...

Dear Dianne,

Dr. Ring's wife is my sister, Anne. In this very small world, I live in Newton. Perhaps we could have a cup of tea?

Kathleen Heck, Oldham Road.

So happy to have met Dr. Ring at ancestry.com and to have gotten many family photos from him. He sent me a Christmas card in 2009, and remembered my mother, Mary Margaret Ring Foster, quite fondly (she is 87 - in her youth she was a raven-haired beauty of the Maureen O'Hara type). I missed his card this year, and am sad to discover why that is. We had many lively exchanges on family history and the Civil War. He also asked after a doctor colleague of my husband's, and wouldn't you know, the...

I was saddened to hear of Dr. Rings passing. I loved him very much. He was my family physician for many years and he also took care of my children.
I was looking through my wedding pictures of him and Mrs. Ring. It's hard to believe it was 33 yrs ago on July 16th.
I have many wonderful memories of Dr. Ring and look forward to see him in "Heaven".
My thoughts and prayers are with Mrs. Ring and his family.

My sympathies to Dr. Ring's family. He was our famly physician for more than two decades and I have always been grateful for his commitment, compassion and care. He also had a great sense of humor and made me laugh many times when I needed a fresh perspective.

My condolences to the Rings. Dr Ring was our family doctor for decades. He always had a wooden box of lollipops in the window sill for "good girls & boys". He looked so much like the doctor checking with the stethoscope to the little girl's dolly in the Norman Rockwell paintings in his office that it was years later before I realized those weren't photos of him. I will always hold fond memories of the doctor that made illness & injury less traumatic in my childhood.

My condolences to the Ring family. I was a patient of Dr. Ring's throughout my childhood. He was a great doctor who went above and beyond in taking care of his patients. I remember him coming to our house in the middle of the night, on a couple of occasions, when I had a very high fever as a child. He brought the fever down and put my parents' minds at ease. The world could use more like him.

My deepest sympathy to Ann, and to the entire family. I am gone from Santa Maria for 50 years. Yet I have fond memories of him as a real gentleman. Masses will be offered for him.

Condolences to the Ring family, I have many memories of having worked with John at Condell. I was an R.N. there for 40 + years . I am now in AZ. but found out from Kay Dickman..My prayers are with the family. Shirley Weidner
