I just spoke with Lyle.

I have so many happy childhood memories shared with you and then John. There's to many things to list of how you both impacted my life in positive ways. Thank you ! I'm sorry for your loss but know you shared a great life.

God bless you

I am lifting Brenda and the girls in prayer for strength and comfort. I am so sorry to hear of John's passing. I loved his heart for others and am inspired by his life of service. When I joined the Interfaith Coalition board, he was the program director. It was such a joy to work with him then and to see him at every Auction and Annual Meeting since. Always with a smile and a friendly word. Thank you, Riseland family, for sharing your special man with us. We are a better community for that.

I'm so sorry to all of the family. Brenda, you and John were among my favorite people as a student. My thoughts are with you as you go thru this. I wish I could be there to say my final goodbyes. May God hold you in comfort.

So sorry to hear about John's passing. May the Lord give you comfort and strength in the days ahead. How I remember watching him play at WWC and seeing the two of you over the years since. Love to you, my student teacher and Parks Dept. boss.

Sorry to hear this! He was great! Kids loved him! Thinking of you Brenda! Nancy and Jack Cooley

A fine, a kind and a caring person will always be in the memories not only of family and friends but also of countless others whom John helped in countless ways. We, his cousins, have watched John doings for much of his life and are very proud of him. We send our sympathy to Brenda and family.

Thanks for making me the golfer I am today. Your coaching tips have been very helpful. You are and will be missed. I know you will hit them straight in Heaven and have a zero handicap. I am so sorry and know you are at peace. It has been fun having you in our Lake Padden Seniors Group. Many Thanks......
