Dear Judith and the boys. Accept our sincere condolences and try to be strong. I knew Mr.Ritter personally as I also worked for him for a short period of time. The attitude in the whole office was the greatest and he was a great boss too. May he rest in peace. Irina Sevostianova and our whole family

So much has been said in the above articles lauding Jay that I am challenged to add my comments of remembrances.

It seems like so short a time ago that I first met Jay and was told by our sales mgr, Steve Baker, that I could expect some real competition in the book sales program that we worked for, Worked for is probably the wrong expression. Played for is more appropriate as we had so much fun getting and presenting ...

Mr. Ritter was at one time my boss, and he was a very good and generous man who treated his employees decently and well. He will be greatly missed, and it was an honor to know him personally. Rest Eternal.

Forty years!

That's how long it's been since I met Jay at the Univ. of Miami Law School. I was a freshman student; he was a freshman professor. I don't who was more nervous. We may have talked about that over a brew at the Rathskellar
