Terry Lee Schmeltz Jr., 47, of Woodville, passed away Tuesday evening, September 6, at St. Charles Mercy Hospital in Oregon, surrounded by his family.

He was born December 6, 1968, the son of Terry Lee Schmeltz Sr.
Surviving are his three children; Amber, Tyler and Shelby. Terry is also survived by his long time life-partner, Cindy Genzman of Woodville, and several loving aunts, uncles and cousins.

Terry was preceded in death by his father, Terry Sr,; his brother, Chad; his grandparents, June and Donald Schmeltz; and several uncles and cousins.

Terry was a master of all trades and a career craftsman. He devoted his life to his family and friends, always loving and wanting to be loved.

Terry spent many of his years in Oak Harbor, where he met his true love Cindy, while working hard and being a much-loved friend to many.

In his spare time he enjoyed gardening, reading, watching movies, and rooting for the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Ohio State Buckeyes. To his family and friends he was a humorous, big-hearted and seriously devoted man. Above all, he was a loving father, partner, son and friend.

An intimate family gathering is being held at his home in Woodville to celebrate his unforgettable life.

His ashes will be separated between his two children, Tyler and Shelby, and his life-partner, Cindy.

For anyone who knew Terry, he will always be remembered. The best never die.

Arrangements are entrusted with Deck-Hanneman Funeral Home & Crematory, Bowling Green.
