John Leitch Robertson

Dear Marina and Kids, John and I kind of lost touch over the years but he was never far from my heart and mind. His enthusiasm for life and work were an inspiration to me. I will always remember John's laugh and will continue to be amazed by his vast technical knowledge. John was my friend and I will miss him.

Sweet Sweet Shannon, I know this is an incredibly hard time for you and your family. My heart goes out to you and your mom. Your dad loved you very much and I believe you will someday meet again. Even though the years have lengthened our times of meeting face to face, I'll never forget our moments together. I have great memories of you, me, John, and your then little ones in your then new HB digs. John's gentle spirit lives on in my memories. Marina, you and your family are welcome anytime to come stay with us in Joshua Tree and refresh and renew your spirit in the great out-of-doors that we geologists so love. Stay strong!

John was the love of my life. He can never be replaced. I will miss him dearly as long as I live.

Dad, you are my world. I love you more than any words can express and I will miss you endlessly until we get to be together again. Thank you for always loving me, for always being there for me, and for being the best father and grandfather ever!!
