Not sure what to say?

There have to be thousands of musicians who passed through the various classes at Klein Intermediate and Klein High School with John "Robo" Robinson who owe their musical experiences to him. Further, I'm sure there are hundreds like me who are still enjoying the many things Mr. Robinson taught us about music and life. I loved finding him in the empty band hall one day blasting the James Bond movie theme on the enormous Klipsch speakers we had. He loved his daughter dearly and we lovingly...

Great man! Amazing memories as a young trumpet player under his teaching from 1985-87 at Klein. I have a fond memory of being a kid and watching him paint our next door neighbors house in Kleinwood. As with everything he did, he did with a smile and great skill.

I first met John in 1992 when I was working at the Hyatt and he was the Grayline Tour Guide. He always had a smile and I was always happy to see him. We re-connected again a few years later in the Professional Tour Guide Association and, again, was always happy to see him and he always had a smile. I'm happy to have known him. I know he is smiling in heaven. May he rest in peace and my most sincere condolences to his family.

Elizabeth,
Your dad was my band director at Klein Intermediate from 1969 to 1971. I remember when you were a baby. I was truly saddened to hear of his passing, and you and your family have my deepest condolences and prayers.

I have a lot of great and fond memories of Mr. John Robinson. He was my first introduction to a musical instrument and he always wanted you to achieve your musical potential. Rest in peace and sending my condolences to his daughter and family. He was a true and gentle man.

I have a lot of great and fond memories of Mr. John Robinson. He was my first introduction to music and as the band director, He always wanted you to achieve your musical potential. Rest in peace and my condolences to such a fine gentle man.

Sorry to hear about your dad Elizabeth . May God comfort and give your family a peace that passeth all understanding in this time.

Such a quiet and gentle giant. I really enjoyed being a member of the Professional Tour Guide of Houston association member with John.

John was a fine man, a loving father and a good friend. He was someone you could count on.
