Driving up a Mountain road outside of Ruidoso, New Mexico. I remember sitting in the backseat of my Mom´s 1995 Chevy Impala and hearing my Mother, in a hushed tone, "J. Louis, don´t say that". Imploring my Sister to tell me what my Dad had offered, Lauren had a giggled expression that wasn´t exaggerated and she replied "Daddy said if that Old Fart (referring to the cyclist climbing the mountain road) can do it so can he!".
