John was born on April 9, 1926 and passed away on Sunday, February 14, 2016. John was a resident of Marshfield, Massachusetts at the time of his passing. He graduated from Marshfield High School in 1944. John entered the United States Army and served in World War II. He was married to Beverly. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday February 18 2016 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the MacDonald Funeral Home 1755 Ocean Street Rte 139 Marshfield. Funeral from the funeral home Friday February 19th at 8:00 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Christineâs Church 1295 Main St Marshfield at 9:00 a.m. Interment will be in Marshfield Hills Cemetery. Memorial donations in Johnâs memory may be made to the NVNA and Hospice by mail to 120 Longwater Drive Norwell MA. 02061.

I have such amazing memories of Johnny over the years. I can't remember not knowing him and he had a heart of gold and will be greatly missed. It was an honor to know such an amazing man. I send my prayers to his family and loved ones.

To John's Daughters - I was saddened to hear of your Dad's passing. He was a special man and wonderful friend to my Dad. They had great memories of time spent at Green Harbor Golf Course playing the game they loved and enjoying their friendship. God bless.
