I´m very sorry to see this now. I was stationed with Jay at Tyndall AFB from 1983 until I left the Air Force in July 1987. I have finally found my old roommate from Comiso AS Sicily and I am so sad I will never get to talk to him again. I tried to find Jay on Facebook after so many years and finally did a Google search only to see this. Jay and I were room mates for almost a year I hadn't had a room mate for 3 or 4 months until one day I opened my door and saw an I Love NJ Mug on the bureau. I was so saddened by the news of Jay's passing. I actually served with Jay at Tyndall AFB from 1984 -1987. I also new his wife Sherri at that time but had not spoken to him since about 1992. I still remember his great sense of humor and the fun he brought to our time in the Air Force. I am truly sorry we did not stay in touch. God Bless. P.S. his son is the spitting image of Jay at that age.

Jay will remain in our hearts and minds forever. He lives on in every joke and story we tell. We should not say goodbye, just 'til we meet again. Love you, bro.
