With my sincere sympathy to your family; May your treasured memories continue to provide a measure of comfort and peace to the family. Please be strengthened from (Isaiah 61:1,2) our God "binds up the broken-hearted and comforts all who mourn"

When I first got my Master's license, John took me up on the bridge that morning and handed me a set of epaulets. Then he said, "Okay Captain, now you drive. And try not to break it." Such was his incredible sense of humor.

John's Celebration of Life was held at Kitsap Conference Center this past weekend, in Bremerton, WA. It was a beautiful, sunny, warm day overlooking the ferries and the marina - could not have been more perfect. Over 100 loved ones, friends, coworkers and family showed up to pay respects, share their stories of John and remember his love of life, his humor, and just how good he made people feel. He would have been so proud to have seen his worlds collided into one room, for one afternoon and...

John was a friend of mine from Elementary school through Jr. High and High school. We only met one time after high school for a Juanita High Reunion. He will be remembered. Please accept my condolences for your loss.
