Not sure what to say?

I can't even express how much I miss John at ACS. There is a huge void that I feel every day as I go to work. His smile and laugh is missed so much. Rona family, thank you so much for sharing your awesome father with us. He is a great man and is living an even greater life in the heavens above. You all have the best guardian angel ever.

I was only recently assigned as John's hometeacher. Unfortunately I was only able to visit him once. Up until then John and I always said hi to each other at church but we hadn't had much chance to get to know each other.
My mother loved hearing him play the piano. He played at my father's funeral. She requested that he be the pianist at her funeral as well. When I talked to him about it he very willingly agreed even when told that the organist was going to be John Longhurst(former...

I remember John from back when I got back from my mission and we played in the same band for a short time. My condolences to you all on your loss.

John would always bring the vegetables from his garden to my family when I was growing up. I was always so impressed with his giving and caring heart. With how much of the vegetables he gave us, it appeared to me that his main purpose in having a garden was so he could serve others. Watching him play the piano was truly amazing and was a gift that blessed many people's lives. I'll always be grateful that I knew him.

I was so sad to learn of the passing of your dear father. Many years ago when my son Rick passed away, John wrote a beautiful and comforting letter to my family. I have kept it all these years and read it many times. I read it again the other night, and again felt comfort and peace. He was a kind good and sensitive person. May the Lord bless you now and in the days to come.

John and all of the Rona family were people I truly admired growing up in the Holladay 13th Ward. When John and Edie played piano duets (or solos) at church meetings or other functions, it was not to be missed! On top of all his talent and intelligence, I'll always remember John as someone who was humble and friendly--always smiling. My heart goes out to his family. May you find comfort and peace in your memories.

John, I have only fond memories of you and our college band. Rock on

I had the chance to interact with John during my short stay at ACS, Sandy. I found he is a very easy going person and had always has a smile when he speaks. I was shocked to hear his demise. My mind is filled with his thoughts.

My heartfelt condolences to his family

We were so sorry to hear loss of a great teammate. Even though not much of our team members had a personal interaction with him, he was much appreciated and remembered by the few who met him. He will always live in our hearts and prayers.

To the near and dear ones, our thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief.
