John Charles Rosen

1932 - 2021

John Charles Rosen passed away peacefully on September 3, 2021 at the age of 89. John was a beloved member of the New Orleans and Henleyfield, Mississippi communities, having resided in New Orleans for 65 years before retiring to his home in Mississippi. He is survived by his two children, Anne Lydie Rosen (Jeff Junak) and Robert Loury Rosen (Jennifer) and his four grandchildren, Teller John Junak (Jessica Oreck), Sophie Claire Junak, Matthew Charles Rosen and William Leucht Rosen. John was preceded in death by his parents, Warren Leucht Rosen, M.D. and Erma Stich Rosen, and by Yvette Loury Rosen, his beloved wife of 64 years. John was a graduate of Isidore Newman School and received his Master of Science from Tulane University. He was a pioneer in the field of industrial psychology and founded Social Science Consultants in 1964. He will be remembered as a man of extraordinary character, generous spirit, and a friend to all. He will be deeply missed by his family and his many friends around the globe. A memorial will be held at a later date and interment will be private.
