Not sure what to say?

John was a great friend and colleague. He played an integral part of my coming out as a gay man. We had a zillion great days and nights jubilantly celebrating Detroit's gay scene in the '80's. RIP John. Such a good guy.

I met John Ross in Ann Arbor Michigan summer of 1997 when I was a flight attendant for NorthWest Airlines. John was one of THE GREATEST SOULS I EVER MET ON THIS PLANET IN THIS LIFE! He was a friend, a mentor, a coach, a brother an ANGEL! Oh I just miss him already but I know I will continue to live my life the way John did by loving others, being kind & living like Jesus taught us & I will see him wheni get to heaven one day. I started my writing and music in 1998 in NYC where John came...

John was a great friend who was an integral part of my coming out. We worked together in the investment business and had loads of laughs and fun times together. John was a good Joe and I'm so thankful we reconnected a bit a couple of years ago. Thanks John for your most genuine friendship.

John and I were rookie stockbrokers together in Plymouth, spending many hours together at the office and fun times away. He was a dinner guest at our house many times and lovingly referred to one of my wife's dishes as "Siberian Pork Chops" which he loved. I admired his quick wit and talent as a piano player. Our paths diverged and I regret not reaching out to him in recent years. Rest well old friend!

John and I worked together when I first started out in the financial business. He was a life saver, there were very few women in the industry at that time and he stepped up and became my friend and showed me the way. He had a wonderful sense of humor.

John was a great fellow with a remarkably wry sense of humor. He will be missed.

Privileged to know John as a colleague for forty years. A wonderful, joyful man ready with a smile and kind word at any moment. He will be missed by many, but never forgotten. John 3:16
