Not sure what to say?

It's been two years and we still think of Jack often as we golfed with him and Judy, played cards, trips together and lots of beverage. Wonderful friend and he is still missed everyday.

Sam & & " Best Friend John

John and I grew up together on Pine Knoll Road in Lexington. I always considered him my "best friend". WE went to Parker School together, worked together ,played ball and fixed cars together. John was the best man at my wedding in 1966 for me and my wife Sandra. Even after he and Judy moved out west I will not forget the pleasant visits to Oregon, Palm Desert and Cape Cod. Jack I will miss you.

Best regards,

Sam Fardy

Judy and Family,
This picture reminds me of the "smile that got me down the aisle" at my wedding. He was more than a manager, he was a friend. He supprted the employees of his office in every possible way, but mostly by example. We felt the support as we passed milestones in our lives.
He really was the consumate gentleman and he will be fondly remembered by many.

As a former lumber trader working with Jack at Furman Lumber Company, I want to convey my heartfelt condolences to the Rowan family for their loss. Jack led the office in a way that made our work fulfilling and fun. He treated everyone equally and fairly. Jack was a social guy that most everyone in the industry knew. His passing is a loss for all of us.

Judy and family,
Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire Rowan family. Jack's integrity, passion, loyalty, professionalism, friendship and true dedication to doing what was right were the qualities that so many admired in Jack. He was a true man for helping those around him succeed and never putting himself in front of others. Your dedication to family and friends, your loyalty to company and Boston sports were legendary.
Thank you for all you did for so many. God speed my...
