Not sure what to say?

John Rowland was a wonderful and gracious percussionist and a fine gentlemen. I worked with him in the Metro Pops Orchestra. He never criticized a colleague's performance. He once said to me, "Those notes are gone forever." His students will provide an ongoing legacy of his fine musicianship. - Lois Splendoria, Percussionist, Chandler Symphony Orchestra

John was a wonderful addition to the Scottsdale Symphony during the years he played with us. His professionalism, talent, and sweet spirit are still remembered and remarked upon today. He was a cherished member and will be greatly missed.

John Will always be remembered as the finest Timpanist to bless the Scottsdale Symphony Orchestra role.
His humor, patience and kindness toward all was the hallmark of his earthly presence.
Irving Fleming, Mus. Dir. & Friend
