Not sure what to say?

RIP John. you were a good man

I've been with John's daughter, Frances, for almost thirty years. I asked him for his daughters hand in marriage. Looking back, I know why... "Dad" became a great friend to me. A partner, a buddy, a confidant, an adviser and a teacher. Best of all, he became the same for my sons too. We spent many weekends sighting rifles at Colonial range. I wish he liked fishing. My father-in-law was an awsome man. He beat everyone in pool basketball on his 85th birthday and went high altitude...

Dear grandpa, It is comforting to know you´re up in heaven this Easter smiling down on us. You lived for your family everyday on earth, and now you are able to do the same from heaven. I will always look up to you for strength and I know it will be received. I am so grateful that I can say my grandfather was my best friend. The countless hours in your shop, my hunting partner, going to the range, the outdoors stores, and all our favorite restaurants! The memories you left with me are endless...

John ; you were the best working with you at NYCHA lot of laughs always remember you . Your friend Bernie the Plumber(HEAVY)

Johnny was my parent's best man at their wedding in 1959. He would always stop and ask how everyone was when he would go to "the farm" with his brother. Johnny would always ask my mom if she needed anything. It always touched her that he thought of her. We have missed him in the neighborhood, and we are so very sorry for your loss. He was such a gentleman.
