He was the best Doctor i have ever had the pleasure of working with. So smart and funny.His sense of humor was out of this world. Accepted my uncle as a patient, even though he wasnt accepting any more patients, just because i really wanted him only..My family loved him

Uncle John was a wonderful man, a family man and will be missed greatly.
So many fond memories of when I was a kid and along with other neices and nephews.
His legacy will precede him for decades to come.

I did not know until this evening that dear father John had gone to his heavenly home. My entire career centered on his kind guidance and encouragement. God put this dear man in my life and I am forever grateful to have known him. His face will be one I seek when I reach heaven myself. Yvonne Alles

May God bless you during this difficult time. My condolences to the entire family! I had the honor of working with Dr. Rupke when he cared for patients at Heartland in Ionia. I always thought he was a kind, wonderful man who truly cared for his patients!! And I loved to hear his stories and his laugh and see his big smile!!! I have great memories of him.
