I worked with Jay at WCSC-TV in Charleston, SC in the early '80s. He and I and another guy shared a house in a Charleston suburb. We were all broke working in production at the station. I knew from the fist time I met him he was special. I have yet to meet another person with as much energy, drive and talent as he.
