John was born on May 1, 1924 and passed away on Monday, October 29, 2018. John was a resident of Massachusetts at the time of passing. Mr. Russell, a Mayflower descendent, son of Allen D. and Dorothy M. Russell, was born .in Plymouth and was a graduate of the Plymouth High School Class of 1942. They met and married in England while he was serving in the U.S. Army Air Force during World War II and celebrated their 73rd anniversary this year. In keeping with family tradition, services will be private.

I just now learned of John's passing. I am so sad to know he is no longer with us. I will always think of him, at home in his sweet house. I will treasure the memories I have of his tales of traveling, and our family's history. I am grateful for knowing him. All the best to Margaret and all the family.
