Not sure what to say?

I was a patient of Dr. Ryans back in 1968 when I was severely injured playing football for the local Catholic high school. I am only alive because of Dr. Ryan´s skill as a surgeon. I was a junior in high school when my spleen was ruptured playing football. It was an emergency surgery with a not great projected outcome. I had massive internal bleeding. During my emergency surgery my heart did stop and I was declared dead but Dr. Ryan persevered, fought on and now 54 years, 2 children and 3...

So sorry to hear of Dr.Ryan's passing, he was a kind and modest man for someone of his stature! He and Mrs Ryan were one of my parents favorite friends from the old days down Shippan, My Condolences Ken Trout

Dr. Ryan was a wonderful, caring doctor. The kind of doctor who explained in simple terms what was happening to you and what the future would bring. I am almost 71 yrs. old and everything he said would happen did- But he told me how to handle it when it occurred and everything worked! Think of you often - my prayers are with you -much gratitude and love. Shirley Pierne

What an incredible life Dr. Ryan and Mrs. Ryan have led. My parents were long-time friends and I'm sure are greeting him in heaven along with many of their other great Shippan friends from years ago. I recall Dr. Ryan as a wonderful man with a very calm, reassuring manner. Condolences to the Ryan family. You will miss him and be very proud of the great man he was.

Uncle John lived his life as if he were an astute mountain climber. He had his dreams, his goals and went through each step of his life steadily, enjoying each passing moment on his way to his life's peak.A loving husband, father, grandpa, great grandpa, brother, uncle, friend, physician, one who lived his life, always caring for others. I am sure his view from Heaven's summit will serve him well and be a fitting climax for his life's journey. From there, he now looks down upon us all with his...
