John G. Ryan

Rosemary, I think I met you fifty-some years ago. I knew John through College Republican activities and also in Georgetown Law. I have thought about him through the years. He gave me something that later proved to be a shared pleasure for my family. He introduced me to the music of the Clancy Brothers. I will always be grateful for that. I am glad to know that he had a life filled with love, professional success and such wonderful varied interests. I know you had many rewarding years together...

John was my classmate at Georgetown, where we developed our friendship. We stayed in touch, especially when we both worked for the Senate. He was always willing to help me and others and generous with his time. He dearly loved his family and was devoted to them. We will all miss him.

John was on of us who stepped up to make the GOP conservative and back Barry Goldwater for President. Jim Sensenbrenner
