I worked alongside John at numerous after-hours events at Stamford public schools. He was always kind and respectful, and had a wonderful attitude and sense of humor. We should all celebrate his long and productive life. Eternal be his memory, and may he rest in eternal peace.

I have known you for 89 years, since that September in 1935, when we made our entry into this world. I on September 2nd and you and your brother on September 5th.
