She had been a member of St. Luke's, Monrovia, and it was Morton Kelsey who helped her find her way to St. Margaret's House, the women's seminary for Christian Educators. She had moved to Niles, MI., and had connected with the Jungian therapist Helen Luke. Dear Linny:
I send my deepest condolences to you and the family. I was touched by Jack's wisdom and kindness. I consider my four years in therapy with him a time of acquiring compass and confidence. He was simply the best at listening and reflecting. I still have my dream journal and I still have a deep appreciation for Jack and the ways he helped me. I hope his spirit is still with you in the way his teachings are still with me. It is a benign and blessed transference....

I am sorry to hear of Jack's passing. As you know, after more than twenty years with Jack as my friend and analyst, I owe him a debt that cannot be repaid. I have missed him over the past few years and still feel regret that he and I didn't have a proper farewell.
