John F. Santaniello of Golden Drive, Winthrop died at home on Friday, August 10, 2007. He was 52 years old. Born in Boston, the son of Teresa Aiello and the late Frank Santaniello, he resided in Winthrop most of his life. He was the former husband of Lisa (Velardo) the devoted father of Michael Santaniello of Saugus, Alicia Santaniello of Revere, Kristin Santaniello and Leah Santaniello both of Lexington, the dear brother of Frank Santaniello of Winthrop, Grandson of Lillian Aiello of Winthrop & the loving grandfather of Alexia Santaniello. Funeral Services will be conducted at the Ernest P. Caggiano & Son Funeral Home 147 Winthrop St., WINTHROP on Tuesday at 10:00 AM. Relatives & friends invited. Visiting hours on Monday from 4-8 PM. Interment will follow in Winthrop Cemetery.

My sincerest condolences to your family. John (Bouncer) was a good man. I remember him well from the good old Surfside/Point Shirley day's.
