John Timothy Santinga

I offer my condolences to John's family as he has joined the other Saints, having lived a long and abundant life in faith. As a sometime former lab partner and fellow student in the UMMS Class of 1957, I had warm feelings for John, a sweet, joyous and generous person, and hearing some details of his life and career, I am happy for him. I had the pleasure of working with Dr. Santinga as a nurse practitioner in the mid '70's at the University of Michigan Primary Care Community Medicine Program. He was a kind, gentle and extremely knowledgable cardiologist and internist. He was highly valued by his patients and colleagues. I feel privileged to have known him. I know his family will miss him greatly and sending you all healing thoughts.
