Dr. Santoro was a great doctor! He was caring and compassionate. He actually spent time with his patients. It is not the same at the Dr´s office. I was very sorry to hear about his passing. My heart and prayers for his family. Gale Merilson

Our sincere condolences to the Santoro family. We just learned today of Dr. Santoro's passing and we are deeply saddened. He was such a beautiful, kind, caring person. A great doctor. We were so blessed to have known him for so many years. He will truly be missed.

To the Santoro Family....we are so sorry for your loss. We just heard about Dr Santoro's passing today! We are devastated! Losing Dr. Spaar a couple years ago was hard enough, but learning that Dr. Santoro is gone also is unbearable! He was a fabulous doctor and wonderful human being. He will surely be missed by many. He is certainly with the angels.

I have just learned of Dr. Santoro's passing and I am deeply saddened.
I worked with Dr. Santoro at SMC for 10 years. I worked in the Medical Affairs Office and was responsible for the credentialing of physicians. As such, I developed a close relationship with Dr. Santoro, first while he was the Division Director of Gastroenterology and then when he was President of the Medical Staff. We forged a close working relationship which grew into a friendship.
