Hello, I am sorry for the loss of this remarkable sounding man. I am going through my grandmothers old pictures, and there is a black-and-white photo taken of two men standing in front of an old car. One man is in uniform, with a name and the New York address on the back. The name is John M Savela. As a young man just starting out at GM, John was the 1st journeyman I worked under. He was an intense man. He demanded a lot from me. After working with him for 6 months I had nothing but respect for him. I will always call him a good friend. Rest in peace friend.
