I will never forget John and think about him often. I met John in my early 20s while we worked together at McDonald's in Burlington, MA in 1979. Many people would not believe that John Saylor ever worked as a minimum wage McDonald's employee, but he did, and he was the hardest worker and best crew member in the history of McDonalds. We became good friends and shared an apartment together in Woburn for two years. He was the best man at my wedding in 1981. Now in my late 60s,I will never stop...

I just googled John's name for some reason and only now have discovered he died. I worked with John at Accenture in Boston many years ago. He as always a nice man, and I think gave popcorn away at Christmas ... some sort of fund-raiser for a good case no doubt. My belated condolences t John's family.

I was shocked and saddened to hear the news. I knew John for a very short time but had the opportunity to work with John and always looked forward to a surprise call to "catch up" after we had both gone off on different paths. He was a wonderful mentor, an inspiring professional and always a cheerful and uplifting friend. The world is less for John's loss.

Georgia and family,
I had the pleasure of knowing John for close to 20 years thru Scouting. I will miss his friendship, his honesty and his sage advice. It is also worth mentioning that at the graduation ceremony for the YMCA Training Inc. program this May, John was remembered by one of the students in her speech, as a "great, caring and funny instructor." He will be missed deeply by so many. My heartfelt sympathies go out to all of you.

Please know how saddened I am to have learned of Johns' passing the other day. I am so glad I had the opportunity to get to know him over the years! He always had the ability to walk (or run) into my shop at the most perfect times . A day could be dragging along and he would just brighten up the room. His demeanor and laugh were always infectious to all he came in contact with. I will truly miss seeing him and the great talks we have had over time. Please let Elizabeth...

I was deeply saddened to hear of John's passing. He was always a smiling face from our time at Accenture to Tanglewood to a coffee shop in Back Bay. He will be missed. My condolences to all those who remember him.

I was shocked and deeply saddend to learn of John's passing. I worked with and for John during the brief time he spent at Unisys Corp. and he was a breath of fresh air. John was a very quick study and he 'got it' real quick, bringing a perspective not seen often. John and I established a bond having both come from Andersen and the bound continued after he left Unisys. Every few months, John would reach out with a phone call asking how I was doing because he cared about people. John was a...
