John E. Scavone, 75, beloved husband of Doris, died on Thursday, August 17, 2000. Visitation is scheduled for Saturday, August 19, 2000, 5-9 p.m. and Sunday, August 20, 1-9 p.m., at Wujeck-Calcaterra & Sons, 36900 Schoenherr at Metro Parkway (16 Mile Road), Sterling Heights, Michigan. In state on Monday, August 21, 10:30 a.m. until time of services at 11 a.m., at American Lutheran Church, 38795 Mulberry (east of Groesbeck and south of Harrington), Clinton Township, Michigan. Interment will be at Resurrection Cemetery. Donations are welcomed to the American Heart Association, 16310 West 12 Mile Road, Southfield, MI 48076 or the American Lutheran Church, 38795 Mulberry Street, Clinton Township, MI 48036.
