Although it was a cold windy day we all gathered to send John & Jackie Schenone to their final rest.
A few flowers placed at the site made for a warm setting.
A verse and poem read by my good friend Barbara made everyone feel comfortable at such a sad reunion.

I am very sorry for your loss. John was a great guy and mentor to a lot of young musicians, myself included. I don't think there is anyone who was a musician and or youngster back in the '50's - '60's in all of Ocean County, let alone Toms River that John didn't know or help out at one time or another. May he rest in peace.
