Not sure what to say?

My family (Jacqui, Scott, and Paula Miller, and Joey Compani), and I, Dana Compani, are grateful to have had "Big John" in our lives. I have such wonderful memories as a young girl, spending time at the "Willows" in the Santa Cruz Mtns, where the Schiavone's, the Vivier's and our family, the Miller's all kept trailers for weekend getaways. We had a blast swimming, barbecuing and laughing together. The times that we all shared together with John and his family as we grew up and had...

Celebrating a well lived life of a wonderful man, but definitely taken too soon. We are thankful to have met him over 35 years ago. We have so many wonderful memories as he was like a father to me and grandfather (Poppy) to my kids. We will love you and miss you always. Patti , Rod, Andrea, Mario, Brianna and Jake

I meant Johns daughter Connie at work in the late 70,s and became a part of their family. He and Pat were always very generous with friends and family. I have a lot of good memories of our weekends at their house in Burlingame. After he met Joy their house was always open to friends and family. He will be missed by all. Love Sandy Malatesta

I remember John and Tony and Gena from the neighborhood when we were all kids. He was a great guy, a lot of fun, I even remember the watermelon truck and that was a long time ago. My husband Ray remembers John as they met when we were older and we were all friends with Gena and Tommy Finale.
