So sorry for your loss Joe and David and families. I only met John once , but Liz and I shared stories about him so I feel like I knew him. Thinking of you and sending prayers at this time of loss. Debbie G

We are so sad to hear of John passing, our deepest condolences to Joe and family. It's been too many years since I last saw John, he was a special guy. He really was everything that was written about his life. We have nothing but fond memories, so many fun bike rides, playing with the hot rods and harleys. camping up to Charlemont, hanging with the gang, played football in high school ... we'll never forget ya John, you will be missed.

We will have fond memories of John and smile anytime we talk about the Red Sox, eat banana bread, see an old truck, or hear a tractor running. You are and will be missed. Look down on us and smile once in awhile. P.S. We will keep feeding the wild things.

When I think of all the great times we had for many years, I will keep them very close to my heart. So sorry Dave and Joe for your loss. When I hear thunder I will picture you in heaven on that Harley. Love you always.

To the Schlatka family please accept my condolences. I want to add, I remember John as real real nice person - a tribute to his up bringing. Rest in Peace John Schlatka.
