My friend Carolyn and I met John on a cruise from Copenhagen to NOLA in 2019. He was a really nice man - such a gentleman and we enjoyed his company at several meals and entertainments. He told us that he would begin chemotherapy when he returned home from the cruise. I stayed in contact with him by Facebook Messenger and am VERY sorry for your loss.
