John Otto Schnering

John was my neighbor for many years and a lot of fun. He was alway pointing out the error of my ways being a registered Republican where he was a Democrat; never, ever in mean spirit, but in fun. He was always teasing me about my cats since I own four and remarkably, one stray found her way to him. He loved the cat and I know she is missing him. John was a gentle soul, kind man and one bright guy. He will be missed by many for his good and gentle manner, myself included.

I've known John for over 6 years, he was my co-woker, my advisor, but most of all my friend. John and Judy would try and spend as my holidays with us as possible and became very close to me and my family. John and I would pick on each other like a brother and sister would do. Its really hard to believe that my friend and co-worker is gone, its just not the seem without him at work. I just hope that deep down inside him, he knew how much I love the son of a gun! John was a fine caring man. He was married to my sister Judy for serveral years and a joy to all our family. We will miss his humor and kindness.

I refered to him as Uncle John he was my dad's best friend. I spent alot of time talking with him. He was always there for us. He always had jokes and made me laugh. He was a wise man. He always showed me to look on the brighter side of
things. Uncle John put foot prints across my heart and he will never be forgotten.

John was the best man i have every known. He would give you his shirt off his back if you needed it. I'm still in shock. I spoke to him the afternoon he passed he sounded great. I'll miss our fishing trips together. I miss his great sence of humor. I don't think I ever saw him mad at anyone. I love John as a father, brother, and a son. I will never stop thinking about John. John and I were classmates in law school. We shared many good times and had many weighty discussions. He was a very good man. My sincere sympathy to all of his family.

It was always a pleasure to deal with John. He was a true gentlemen, and he will be missed by all who knew him.

John was an interesting and intelligent man. I enjoyed our talks under the oak trees that shaded ur front yards. It was fun bantering with him about all topics worldly and otherwise. I will miss him.
