It's been almost three years now since your return to Heaven, friend John, and I'm sure you were glad to see Lil Prince join you on December 22nd, 2024, after he gave me six years and a day of wonderful companionship! Thank you for your friendship while you were a resident at Stonespring and in the room my father once occupied.

It's been one year ago today since you returned to Heaven, John, and I think of you often. You were in my father's old room at Stonespring, in his side of that room, and it was so nice to stop by and visit with you! Lil Prince and I miss you, but know you're now forever young!

John in a couple more days it's been a year since you passing to your new life. In some ways it seems like yesterday and others much longer. We pray for you and miss you. Everytime I drive up Little York Rd my instinct tells me to turn in to stop and say hello or maybe even have a meal with you. I know that cannot be but I have conversation with you and say a prayer. It won't be long we can all be together again but until then ... here's to you John. I'm happy to have gotten to know...

I am saddened to hear of the passing of John. Fond memories of time spent with him while counting the parish offertory collection will always be cherished. His deep love of God, country and family were clearly evident during our many conversations.

We knew John during his last earthly chapter of life at the transitional care facility. He was in my late father's room and was a wonderful person that became a good friend. It was so good to become friends with him and Jean and we looked forward to monthly visits. God surely rejoiced at John's return to Heaven! These photos were taken on April 16, 2022, of the last time we visited with John. His kindness will be remembered!
