Not sure what to say?

Dear Shirley and Family: We have wonderful memories of you and John and the times we stopped to see you as we fished the AuSable. John enjoyed the river so much and I know that he is watching from above and waiting for opening day so he may once again wet his line in his favorite stream.

Aunt Shirley and family,
So sorry to hear of Uncle John's passing.I will always have fun memories of visits at our house and at Grayling. Uncle John always had a great story and a fun laugh. Our family will miss him.

What a cool-fishing dude

Dear Aunt Shirley and family:

Karen and I are very sad to hear the news of our Uncle John's passing. I will always have fond memories of our adventures on the AuSable River and deer camp in Grand Marais with the usual gang of Uncle Floyd, Uncle John and my Dad Gerry. What fun times those were in addition to the fun weekends at your home on the mighty AuSable River. My brothers and sisters have been notified of this sad day.

Sincerely,
Nephew Mike and Karen...

I met Cindy in the 7th grade at Forsythe and we became good friends. I remember it was at the Schultz's home on Barton Drive that I first had Sunshine crackers! Although we don't keep in touch & just run into each other from time to time I always keep Cindy and her family in my thoughts. I have fond memories of Mr. & Mrs. Schultz and want to extend my sincere sympathy to the entire family. I will keep you all in my prayers.

JOHN WAS ALWAYS A JOY TO TALK TO,I KNEW HIM IN HIS DAYS AT SUNSHINE BISCUIT AND MY DAYS AT KROGER.
HE WAS A GOOD MAN.
MIKE BROWN

My deep and sincere condolences to you, Shirley, and to your family. John was always a dear friend, and I will miss his happy smile. He was a kind and gentle person and always so pleasant to be with. I regret not being with you at this sad time, but we will be in Florida for my granddaughter's college graduation, but my thoughts will be with you. God Bless!

With our deepest sympathies.

Your Grayling friends,
Dan, Mary, Dan Jr., Ginny, Joe and Larry.

I can remember many wonderful autumn days hunting with John and Becky, his beagle, and with my father, Walter. I know he will be missed and remembered by all who knew him. My deepest sympathy to his family.
