We wish to offer our condolences in your loss. Our thoughts & prayers are with each and everyone.Lucille Sciarra/ Joe & Tina Leggio and Nick & Annette Cacucciolo. ( He is a distant cousin)

In our househould growing up in Alhambra Mr. Sciarra was simply known as the "Rock". Outside of my own father I can't think of a single man who had a greater influence on me as a youth. Many great memories come flooding back as I contemplate his passing and that of my dad earlier this year. I know Mrs. Sciarra as well as the entire Sciarra family will find comfort in knowing that the "Rock" had such a positive influence on so many people.

Thoughts and prayers to you all. Connie Bufo Hanggie (Murrieta, Ca.)

Mr Sciarra was a great man and coach. He was one of many veterans that settled into Alhambra after WWll. My dad played ball against him when he played for Fremont High. My father kept a picture from the LA Times or Herald showing him sliding into third and my pops putting on the tag. Well into their fifties, they would somtimes breakout the gloves for a game of catch. My condolences go out to his wife, John and all the family. Love, X.Leon

We wish to offer our condolences in your loss of John. He is a distant cousin. I was about 9 years old when he was attending Fremont High School. He was a star athlete. The whole family was always proud of him and his many accomplishments. God Bless you all, Jim and Barbara Sciarra, 3625 Rosewood Pl., Fallbrook, Ca. 92028

Our Thoughts & Prayers are with each and everyone of you during this time of sorrow. John will always hold a special place in our hearts along with his loving family!

Rest in peace my friend. Love Always Rich.
