Reflecting today on family ties as a child and saw this notice. John and Rita, my Godparents, taught me that for an unlucky family of 5 siblings who lost our mother way too soon, I've been fortunate to have so many "Moms" and as Johnny who was a close friend of my Dad's, we were connected. We didn't see each other often as I got older, but the times we did share were quality times. RIP, Dear Johnny ~ Smiling down on us as you and Rita can now hold hands once again.
