Scott, III

John William Scott, III, age 62, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, September 12, 2011. He is survived by his wife, Susan; his five children, Samantha Scott, Steven Scott, Brooke Scott, Megan Newman (Raymond) and Christopher Farnham(Trisha); stepson, Robert Spinelli; three grandchildren, KaRon Thomas, Jamal Beasley and Reaghan Newman; his father, John W. Scott, Jr.; three brothers, Alan Scott (Loretto), Ronald Scott, and Randolph Scott (Becky) and one sister, Lynnette Scott.

Family will receive friends at Horizon Funeral Home on Sunday, September 18, 2011 from 6 to 8 .pm. and Monday, September 19, 2011 from 11 to 12 noon. Homegoing Service will begin at 12 p.m. at Horizon Funeral Home, 750 Old Brandy Rd., Culpeper, Va 22701. Burial will be in the Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery, Rixeyville, Va. Arrangements by Horizon Funeral Home, Culpeper.

Daddy I miss you till no end....you hung in there as long as u could...you fought a hard fight. You have given me something to look forward too...I think of.my child.coming as your blessing. We have been thru so much together we had a strong relationship. I'll remember most of.our times together as good ones...the beach trips,kings dominion trips, etc. Daddy I miss n LOVE U so much!!! I knw you are my ANGEL in Heaven watching over me!!! Reaghan ask abt you all the time she says I want to see...

I DID NOT KNOW JOHN, BUT I DO KNOW LYNNETTE. MY DEEPEST CONDOLENCES ARE EXTENDED TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY. IT IS NEVER EASY TO LOSE A LOVE ONE.
