Not sure what to say?

To the Scott Family:
It was my honor to know and work for your father when he was Master of the National Grange and it was my great pleasure to have his as a friend thereafter. Your dad and mom were very special to my entire family. They (and your grandfather Frank) were at my wedding, your dad was with my family at the hospital when my dad passed away, your dad gave my mother a job at the National Grange which she kept for nearly 30 years which helped her tremendously after my dad died....

To the family of John Scott, I extend my condolences. In the 1980's I worked in Agriculture, in the Marketing Bureau. A friend of mine, also from that agricultural era, called me and informed me that John had come to the end of his life. I knew John for 5 years and never forgot him. Mr. Scott was a friend of the family. He and my grandfather, John Blain had been good friends before my grandfather died. He helped my grandmother, Gladys Blain; she was an insurance agent for National Grange Mutual. John and Dorothy would come and visit her when they were in Butler. My family has fond memories of the Scotts and they made a difference in our lives.

Dave & Patty: So sorry to see the passing of your father. Sorry I was unable to attend any of the services. Your memories of your father will be with you forever. Take care and God Bless

I was thankful that I got to know John, he was such an interesting person. I know he enjoyed you all and was so happy to have you near him. It a blessing when you get the chance to say goodbye, you were blessed. Now I wish more blessings come your way to help you through today and the days to come. You are special people!

To John's family: John was a part of my family from time when I was a small child, growing up in Butler, PA. My mom, Florence McCandless Youkers and his wife Dorothy were full cousins. I remember John as a fun-loving, and supportive family member, and I know he will be missed tremendously.
