Not sure what to say?

I worked with John for many years and we became good friends. He was a kind, gentle soul. A man of great faith. He had a really dry sense of humor. It has been nearly 8 years since his passing. He is so sadly missed.

I was blessed to have know John through his many visits to the Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament in Hanceville, AL. His heart was always drawn to adoring Jesus and he found rest and consolation at the Shrine. I was privileged to spend time with John in the Holy Land and he loved to share pictures of all the holy places. John's kindness and gentleness will always hold a special place in my heart. Until we meet again..........

John was a great man...selfless, with a dry sense of humor. I loved working with him over the years and sharing success stories. While he had been gone from my professional circle, I would still see him in the neighborhood. Rest with the angels Doc!

How do I even begin to say what John meant to Steve & me? He was such a sweet, kind soul who was a never ending source of strength & faith. A genuine friend who never asked anything of anybody, just kindness & love. I can't even put into words how much he meant to us. Steve will continue to fight his battle like John did, with dignity, courage & grace. Until we see you again, John. You will be forever in our hearts.

Dr Sears, God only takes the good ones, and u were truly a blessing a kind and gentle soul. Rest in peace my friend. Judith Hurston

Dr. Sears you will be missed by many! There's a special place waiting for you because you were so kind, gentle and full of faith!

John was a great guy....selfless.....just a good soul. He would help out anyone. Many of the people John helped out didn't know about his illness. He did a great deal to help out our friend Steve. We are all forever thankful. RIP Johnny.

John was a wonderful man and a great friend. He was a kind and gentle soul. I will always be thankful that I knew and loved him.
