RIP, Mr. Sedlock...a great teacher and a great class! I'm sorry I poked that gerbil with a meter stick... :-)

R.I.P Doc Sedlock. You made learning biology fun and exciting. Class of 85

My condolences to the family of Mr. Sedlock. He was patient, had a fantastic teaching style and a great sense of humor. Definitely one of my favorites. May he rest in peace, and may his memory be eternal!

John Quackenbush - L.S.I. Class of '92

Thanks Doc for being a great professor, and driving that awesome van to school. Rest in Peace!

LSI Classic of 94, Doc Sedlock is the only reason I passed my bio regents. A truly one of a kind educator. Rest in Peace.

Great Biology teacher and better guy with an unforgettable voice... Godspeed Mr. Sedlock, LaSalle Institute 94'

I had Mr. Sedlock as a teacher back in the late 70's. I was terrible at science but he always made it interesting and never made a kid feel dumb if they didn't get it. I remember doing poorly on a test and he let me bring in swamp water, yes swamp water, for extra credit. We looked at it under the microscope and it was fun. Great teacher.

doc sedlock, what a guy. he was great at motivating us at lasalle institute. he used to tell me "eh lupe, youre not gonna pass the regents" he said it in a humorous yet motivating way. i was not the best student he ever had but i soaked in so much from him. i DID pass the regents and later went on to teach high school math in new york. and used many 'docisms' in my own classes. i remember him fondly and alway will. john lupe, LSI class of 1990
