John J. See, 76, of Kansas City, MO, passed away May 4, 2003, at North Kansas City Hospital. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, May 7, 2003, at St. Peter Church, 6415 Holmes Rd., Kansas City, MO. Military graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Leavenworth National Cemetery, Leavenworth, KS. Family suggests memorial contributions to Archbishop O'Hara High School, 9001 James A. Reed Rd., Kansas City, MO 64138. John was born June 10, 1926, in Kansas City, MO, where he spent all of his life. He graduated from Rockhurst High School and the University of Notre Dame. He was an architect with Roark, Daw & See Architects and then for the City of Kansas City, MO, retiring in 1992. He was a member of St. Peter's Church. John is survived by his wife of 41 years, Mary C. See; a daughter, Christie Asbury & husband, Bruce, of Kansas City, MO; sons, Michael See of Lawrence, KS, and Mark See of Kansas City, MO; and seven grandchildren.
