John Kraft Seitz

I thought I would return here since it has been 10 years. I miss John all the time - usually during fix-it projects where we would work and then chat as we caught our breath. John and I worked on his California home, his North Carolina properties, his Holyrood KS home, and in Oklahoma City on my business. There was a large sign still in the Holyrood home garage that read "Boyhood home of John Seitz" - and I always found that funny. Miss you, John.

What a celebration of life! The Seitz family has and always be a part of my life. I know that Uncle Jonnie is having a party in heavan with his beloved daughter. My prayers and thoughts are with all that loved John!

Daisy, Jody, Justin, Heath, Aubry - I do understand the pain that you are feeling with the loss of John. He will be greatly missed. I considered John my best friend and still can't believe that he is gone.

I worked with John for eight years at the University of Kansas Computer Center. He loved his work and because of him and others major changes were made in KU's computing direction during the late 70's. John was instrumental in the design of the new KU Computing Center which still stands today. I can remember the many times he and I viewed the construction and how proud he was of what was happening. I can't remember when I first met John, but he was always a great inspiration. He owned an artificial grass store and was working at KU in the comp center. I know that he believed in motivational things and much of the philosophy that if you had a mind to do it you would. John was quite a guy and I have long remembered him although I only knew him briefly.

I know your loss is difficult, but John would want you to move beyond that and know that he loved each of you. Love never dies...

Jody and kids sorry for your lost, I know how difficult this has been even though John lived apart from you. May the Lord bless and keep you during this tragic, sudden untimely departure. Many who attended the Seed when you did, have very fond memories of you and your family during all your time in Lawrence.
