My favorite memory...
So of course every trip to Minnesota we had to stop by his house first to get the keys. When we were kids and going with Mom and Dad or as an adult driving up from Georgia with my family we always stopped by River Grove for the keys. After we visited for a bit and we were preparing to go, Grandpa always said a prayer. Of course he always prayed for our safety, but the thing that always tickled me was that he always prayed for protection for us from speeding tickets....

Grandfather Sergey was such a kind hearted man. We are all so blessed for having him touch our lives in one way or another. He brought so many people to Jesus, our Lord. Everyone who knew Grandfather Sergey is a better person. We will miss him greatly. I will remember his sparkly eyes, pure love & he'll always be the teddy bear Grandpa to me. We love you Grandfather and know you are happy in Heaven with Grandma Helen.
