Not sure what to say?

I worked with John and for John shortly after he opened Midtown Pharmacy back in 1964. He was a wonderful and kind boss. There are not many like him in this world. He will be missed.

John was a wonderful man. He was always so kind and caring. Deepest sympathies to his family. He will be missed.

A great man. I may not have all the dates exactly right, but John opened Midtown Pharmacy in April 1964 and he hired me to work there as behind the fountain and to deliver via bicycle in June that same year. Billy Rebman and I worked that side of the store and John and Herbie Schmidt took care of the pharmacy side.
Midtown was open from 9 AM until 10 PM, Monday through Saturday and on Sunday 9 AM to 1 PM. John worked just about all those hours himself, with three hours relief from Herb...

My sincere condolences to the Shalhoub Family. I worked at Midtown Pharmacy for several years. John was the nicest Boss I ever had. Always enjoyed stopping in and visiting over the years. RIP John.

Mr. Shalhoub thank you so much for all of your years at Midtown Pharmacy. My family trusted you completely for your good advice and assistance. As a student of Robinson School - I was in the store daily....and I am lucky enough to count sodas at the fountain among some of my best memories. Rest in peace.

Nice man and family was a good friend to my father Bernie(Doc). I can remember Sunday mornings going there with my dad and the two of them shooting the breeze. I can also remember the numerous times someone was sick John would have the prescriptions ready with the words take them dont worry about the money just get better and see me then. Kind caring man. Condolences to the family your husband/father was a good man. RIP
