Not sure what to say?

Dear Harriet, I just learned that John had passed away. Time has passed and geographic distance has widened since the days in Bay Harbor when we were starting out in business life and raising our families. I remember what a wonderful father to the kids and support to you that John was during great times and the worst of times and how close he was to your father. John was a great guy and the void he leaves in the lives of your family must be enormous. I just wanted you to know that from afar...

Harriet dear, my deepest sympathies to you and your loved ones. So many years, so many memories, not an April 24 goes by that I think of you lovingly
You are in our thoughts and prayers..the family of the late Murray Kay

Harriet,

I was so sorry to hear about John.
I know he suffered for such a long time but you have to admit, he was a trooper.

Personally, I will always have a smile when I think of John. We had
some laughs together. He was so
quick witted.

My heartfelt sympathy goes out to
you and your family.

Fondly,
Harriet Abramson Stone

DEAR HARRIET, JUDD, LAUREN, LILLY AND SYDNEY:

SEVERAL DAYS AGO I HAD HEARD A "RUMOR" THAT JOHN HAD PASSED AWAY, BUT NOT SEEING ANYTHING IN THE NEWSPAPERS, I FIGURED IT WAS JUST A "RUMOR".

TODAY, MY HEART ACHES FOR ALL OF YOU, FOR SUCH A TERRIBLE LOSS.

I CAN WELL REMEMBER WHEN I FIRST MET JOHN, AT THE UofM SCHOOL OF LAW. I TOOK AN INSTANT LIKING TO JOHN, AND BECAME HIS UNSOLICITED TUTOR FOR THE "MOOT COURT COMPETITION".

AS YOU CAN...

I shall always cherish our long friendship and have fond memories of our voyage on the QE2 and the time spent together in london.

my hearfelt condolences to harriet and family.
