John W. Sharp

John W. Sharp, 55, Kokomo, passed away at 7:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 26, 2010, at his residence. He was born Feb. 1, 1955, in Kokomo, to Loren Junior Sharp and Mary Elizabeth (Wallace) Sharp. He had worked for Turner Industries. John enjoyed NASCAR and riding his Harley. Survivors include a son, Adam Joseph Sharp and wife Amberly, Columbus; son, Dallas Michael Sharp, Indianapolis; daughter, Debbie Lynn Sharp, Columbus; brother, David L. Sharp, Kokomo; sister, Juanita McClay, Bunker Hill; sister, Ruby and husband Roy Rotramel, Wichita, Kan.; sister, Cheryl Rotramel, Kokomo; sister, Susan and husband Jeff Cales, Kokomo; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Keith Allen and John Jr. Sharp; and a sister, Debrah Sharp. A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Ellers Mortuary Webster Street Chapel, 3400 S. Webster St., with the Rev. Doyle Buckner officiating. Friends may visit with the family from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, two hours prior to the service at the funeral home. John's wishes were to be cremated.
