John Clark Shaughnessy

We were sad to learn of John's passing. Walking around Italy, visiting your Berea home, and guessing a piece of furniture's purpose (Irish footstool!)---those are a few memories I have of John. I enjoyed his warm, sometimes goofy sense of humor. Our hearts go out to you, Annette, and to you, Mia. Love, Janet & Dwain

Dear Annette, I was so sorry to hear about the loss of John. You and him both helped me find summer jobs as a high-schooler, and were always very kind to me and my mom. I always remember him showing up at the Chagrin Valley Hunter Jumper Classic to say hi in the golf cart, and watch the horses jump. Prayers to you and your family.

Dear Annette, I was just reading about John. I am so very sorry. I tried to contact you both when Linda passed, but was unable..I remember how kind John was when I left for New York. "please call, write, visit a friend" is a perfect tribute for John who always had a smile for everyone he met. I knew John through the horse community and he was a person that made everyone he met feel special. What a priviledge to have known such a special person.

One of the first people I met at Bridlewood stables. He made me feel very welcomed. Such a sweet man. He will be missed.
